Hello everybody,
I am a new member of the GNOME Foundation. I am originally from the city of
Kolkata in eastern India, but I am currently located in Brno, Czech Republic.
In the recent past I have been hacking on Telepathy Idle, and sending the
occasional patch to Gstreamer to make it work better
Interestingly, is an emeritus eligible to be listed in gnome planet?

What you say is not a vision. That's a what, not a why. Also, are we in
the same business as Apple? Apple is in the business of challenging the
status quo and thinking differently. ($:04 in the video) Are we?
WHY are we doing GNOME?

doing stuff over Google hangouts these days. It would be nice if
we could make something like that work with open standards and
free software. I don't think IRC is the right starting point.
Sure.. it's not a good fit for a free software project though since it
isn't free software. In

Well, atleast they don't use Flash. :-)
Hey Karen,
Thanks for your work on GNOME over the past few years. Working with you
to make GUADEC happen in Brno was great fun and a memorable experience.
Wish you all the best for your future.

Hello everybody,
We are organizing List Fest in Brno from 10th to 14th September.
This is a small focused event to address the scalability problems
in GtkListBox and GtkFlowBox. For further details, see:

Umm... some of the comments on this issue read a little too aggressive
to me. Electronic communication is hard as it is. Let's not make it
more complicated by repeatedly using phrases that
