Please, disregard the previous message, since I was able to compile bounce
successfully by
customizing the OPTIONS\DIRECTORIES\units\etc...
But now when I try to run this bounce program I get the meassage:

I added SysUtils to the uses clause, recompiled, re-run, and the message is
the same: exited = 217
