Hi Framers,
I've got the following problem: I create a spreadsheet in Excel 2007,
copy a couple of cells and paste them as OLE2 object in my Frame 7.2 file.
I create a PDF and, lo and behold, a black rectangle appears on top of
the OLE2 object. I'm using Acrobat 6 with Dov's recommended
Hi,
I would recommend that you look specifically at the XML support in
FrameMaker if XML is an option to you.
There are many other considerations in using FrameMaker ... here's just a

1. If you plan to migrate your Interleaf documents into structured XML, you
can make you of the conversion
You've got a point there, Mark (or rather, several points ;-)).
And once you've got your Interleaf content in FrameMaker, the latest
version of MIFGo can help to make DITA topics and maps directly from
UNstructured FrameMaker files (I've been told). You can download a free
unlimited demo
Hi,
Is there a tool which works book wide for removing legacy conditional
text settings?
Thanks in advance

Unfortunately not using structured but considering it.
Following the discussions but a long way off from making progress in
that area.
Anyway, thanks good to know for future reference.

Hi, all!
We are working on setting up our structures for training material, in

Is the Instructor's Guide a totally separate book, or you have one
book that you're publishing in two versions, maybe controlled by
conditional text?

The article that youi pointed me to includes a table comparing several XML
