Have you saved your workspace? Once you get it the way you like, click the dropdown (top right of FM, next to the minimize/maximize icons), and take it from there. I use a few myself. They do get stored in a user directory, so *maybe* the IT powers that be did a push of something that changed

As an FYI, if this does happen, the structured interface is a superset of the unstructured. All the unstructured stuff is there, and then a few more goodies. If you accidently get dropped into structure from unstructured, just work like normal (or reset it under Edit > Preferences) and don't
