Well, I'm floored. I was just testing out creating PDFs from FM 12, and lo
and behold, the links from insets work!! No need to run a script. Gee, I
should have known that before this. =:-O

I've not completely followed this thread, but I do know of a wiki that lets
you reuse content.
I've been using MindTouch for one client, and it definitely lets you reuse
content. I've created multiple guides in it and have many sections that

I've been using FM 10 on Win 7 since January. I find that the track edits
feature works well and similarly to FM 8. The advantage that FM 10 has, if I
recall correctly, is that I can enable and disable tracking edits for a
single document or for all documents in the book. That's very handy.

I've not looked in FM 10, but .rtf is probably still Save As option. My past
experience, though, was that save as rtf took forever for just a single
file.
I use Mif2Go to convert drafts to rtf for my clients to mark up in Word. I
works well and fast for a whole book. Lots of graphics slow it

Ive seen the same thing when highlighting with a mouse with my installation
of FM 8 on Win 7 64-bit. I dont recall ever having that problem in all the
years I used FM 8 on Win XP.
