I submitted security-related updates on thursday (173472, 173473,
173474). While 5 days of course is not long, in the past my submissions
where at least taken by someone within a few hours so I just wanted to
check if something went wrong with the submission.

OK, I got lua = 5.1 installed on the system. Running configure gives same
error. This source code is looking in all the wrong places for everything.
I have also done *setenv USE_PKGCONFIG yes* prior to ./configure.
configure: error: BOOST library is missing

as I saw noone complaining until right now (and didn't find any
announcement about downtime): looks like portsnap does not provide
new snapshots; if I'm reading the current snapshot tag correctly,
it's from Sun Nov 11 15:54:03 CET 2012. The svnweb interface shows
way more recent commits...
