Try:
# pwd_mkdb /etc/master.passwd
in your jail. That creates (amongst other things)
Hi Gabor,
Did you install the jail following the instructions of the man page ? Which
version of FBSD are you running ? Assuming that u are running the jail
command from root, you don't have to specify the user.
