how could i fix this problem?
Installing /usr/ports/devel/pth is likely to be the answer. There may be a

Hi all,
I use portsnap to keep the port tree of my FreeBSD 7 box up to date.
According to portaudit, which I run nightly, there is a problem with the
current version of libxml2. So, as usual, I run sudo portsnap fetch
sudo portsnap update, and then:
$ cd /usr/ports/textproc/libxml2
$ sudo

When I install textproc/py-libxml2 from the port tree, it installs

Hi,
I'm trying to install textproc/libxslt on a 6.1 machine.
The issue is, is that it needs libxml2 - 2.6.27 . I've installed this

There is no /usr/bin/xml2-config in FreeBSD, and never was.
Get rid of it.

Hello list,
This one annoys me for quite a long time now. I am using xfce4 (but
that's not the point) and there is this problem with libxml2. It
manifests itself thus:

opened (/usr
Sure I forgot to mention that I use FreeBSD 4.10-BETA as of April 9, not
5.x.
Sorry.
Thanks.

Hi all,
I have FreeBSD 5.1-RELEASE installed.
When I try to portupgrade textproc/libxml2 I get the following error:

Actually, I've been trying to portupgrade some GNOME related ports and this
is a recurrent error.
