BTW, I think without those scripts (or at least examples) you'll find adoption
will be a great deal slower. Many people that need to run dns are far from
experts and often intimidated by its complexity - especially the complexity of
dnssec.

public IPs for aliases is usually wasteful of IP
address space. YMMV...
I would have thought that the most common reason for setting up multiple
aliases on an interface was for hosting multiple domains on a single
server. At least that's why I do it.
