Hi, IIRC, FreeDOS 1.1 is broken by default when it comes to package management. Hopefully v1.2 will work better. As for now, you'd have to install packages via FDNPKG first, and only then these packages will be detected and handled properly. Example: FDNPKG INSTALL MEM To answer your second

Perhaps FDNPKG is more of a future-proofing tool, but after installing it on default FD 1.1 (with a few other programs installed outside C:\DOS e.g. C:\ARACHNE, C:\DILLODOS, C:\LINKS and 1-2 more), I ran FDNPKG CHECKUPDATES and it found 0 updates to install. Is this expected -- no updates for
