Host-only networking does not give FreeDOS access to the Internet. If you
only want to use networking to transfer files between FreeDOS and the host
it would be a good choice. If you want to use Arachne to browse the web
(and who doesn't?) or many of the other FreeDOS networking programs

That font being used is still a matter of your host environment, and as
far
That's what I was wondering -- can you install a larger font to get
larger characters, or will the window still be the same size so you just
get less lines and characters per line?

are messed up [0]. I would have created a bug but it seems locked at
the moment.
There are (or should be) actually two similar packages.
SSHDOS @ v0.95(equivalent to the supported OpenSSH v1.x series,
supports up to SSH

You want to scale the window resolution [0]. There are usually a few
options/techniques to choose from. Look for scale or scaling.

Is there an easy way to double the font size? When running Freedos in
VMWare on a 4k monitor, the window is so small as to be almost unusable.
None of the VMWare display settings change the resolution of the window.
Even in full screen mode, the font size doesn't change.
