Hello Sergio

Thanks for the follow-up on the Windows compile effort. Actually, I
recently found out that the Linux and hopefully soon an Illumos-based
(think Solaris, OpenSolaris, OpenIndiana, OmniOS, and SmartOS) but SmartOS
in particular, will be my effort to get FreeRDP (Shadow Server) to compile
instead of the Windows compile that has now a lower priority for the
project.

With that in mind, I would like to see if there is a way to find out how to
get the plugins for the Shadow Server (Linux for testing) to work in that
for my last attempt, I could not get any sound to work. It may also be the
same for the other resources like USB, copy-paste, etc.. but have not tried
it. Also, I know that the Shadow Server is not complete in its
implementation so that may be the main issue and maybe I can do something
to help as this project progresses.

The near term goal might be to provide a type of VRDP for Bhyve which is a
virtual machine manager in much the same way that VirtualBox has their VRPD
extensions which allows users to connect via RDP to the VM virtual
consoles. I would like to do the same thing using the Shadow Server and
Bhyve. Although Bhyve was mainly running on FreeBSD, it has been ported
over to SmartOS, and OmniOS as well but I tend to like RDP more than VNC
due to the nature of Channels and the amazing capabilities that the
protocol offers. Bhyve, and KVM for that matter already support VNC and a
little bit of Spice, but not RDP which is where I started thinking that the
FreeRDP Shadow Server cold possibly come into play.

Still looking into things at this point though but having a more functional
Shadow Server would be a good step forward.
Cheers,
Lonnie
