[Freesurfer] Recon-all finished with errors

Dear FS members My previous email was flagged by the fraud detection checks, perhaps due to the attachment. I am sending this again to see if that was the problem. Apologies for the repeat of information. I am having trouble with using the "recon-all" function on one particular subject.

into freeview or tksurfer you will see some coordinates, those coordinates will be MNI305 coords. If you map the individual sulc or curv into fsaverage space and load is as an overlay, then you can see what the sulc/curv value is at a given coordinate. Hi I am not a Freesurfer expert or Matlab connoisseur. I am trying to find out how to get the Sulc and Curv value for a given tal coordinate. I was told that you load it in Matlab using read_curv, but how exactly do I do this, what does they syntax look like? I can see in the help this:

I am very new to Freesurfer and are having problems getting it up and running. I have followed, successfully the set up and configuration instructions up the license. At this point, after entering the license information received in the email I try and to exit and save and I get a message that
