Every event has a header 'Event-Date-Local', which has the local date
and time. If want to actively retrieve the date and time, you can send
this API request to the server: api strftime

You can set continue_on_fail to the major (or all) causes that you want
to handle and don't include 302 in those so it will continue to execute
the extension, for example:
continue_on_fail=NORMAL_TEMPORARY_FAILURE,USER_BUSY,NO_ANSWER,TIMEOUT,NO_ROUTE_DESTINATION,CALL_REJECTED,USER_NOT_REGISTERED
You can not do that with a single profile. Each profile is bound to only
one local IP, so if you need to bind to more than one you will have to
create a new profile and set the specific sip-ip/rtp-ip params for them.

I'm about to order one of these eBox systems:
http://www.wdlsystems.com/modperl/view_services.cgi?r=detailprod_num=1EBX33Jaisle_id=1073
They sell for under $200, have decent specs and some models come with a
mini-PCI slot, which can be used to attach a POTS card.

Replace [span wanpipe1] with [span wanpipe 1] in your openzap.conf file

I have recently updated the RPM spec for FreeSWITCH to use the latest

Follow these steps to build it:

I actually do that with our call center application. For all incoming
calls, our IVR engine parks the call in a virtual extension and plays
back prompts, advertisements, MOH, process digits, etc. When the queue

The simplest way to find if the extension is already on a call is to
check the sip_dialogs table (by default it's stored in a sqlite database
in db/sofia_reg_internal.db, but you can set the sofia profile to use
ODBC and store the tables in another DBMS, like MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc).

Some modules require additional libraries to be present, such as
mod_opal in your case. You will need to install ptlib and opal first,
just follow the instructions in the wiki:

If you don't require mod_opal, just disable it in modules.conf.

Hi, and welcome to FreeSWITCH !
You've done everything right, now you only need to tell your system to
run that init script during startup ;-)
As root, do this:
chkconfig --add freeswitch
chkconfig --level 2345 freeswitch on
That's all.
