I played with FT_CONFIG_OPTION_SUBPIXEL_RENDERING today. I installed latest
freetype from CVS with FT_CONFIG_OPTION_SUBPIXEL_RENDERING enabled. And I
tested libXft + your lcd rendering patch and libXft + newest freetype with
FT_CONFIG_OPTION_SUBPIXEL_RENDERING on.
And with
ok, since we're not capable of reproducing the bug here, could you
sibmit a small compilable source that exhibit it, and please give us
the exact name of the font file you're using (or even better, send
it to us privately)
BTW, I've tried with LucidaSansRegular.ttf version 1.2 (October 2000).
