No, I mean that we get the .html file and render it ourselves to the
screen. We could have some tag like html src=file.html x=0 y=0
width=max height=max/
OK
Right now you can't use layers in the skin drawing functions.
Why? I can tell freevo to draw a image

Hi all.
I have been trying to get bmovl working because I want to add some
channel numbers to the screen while watching tv and changing channels.
I am using mplayer frmo CVS from a couple days ago, and am testing it
using bmovltest.py in Aubin's WIP directory. However after running
mplayer
I have been able to get the text_surf part of bmovltest.py to work ok so
whatever is broken (with bmovl or bmovltest) must be related to one of
the other functions.
Any ideas?

I have this problem with with record_daemon.py when, and only when, it kicks
off a record job. Regular operations (i.e., just reading old entries) are no
problem.
It does read the new entry, build the command properly, comment out the
entry, rewrite the file; but it does NOT start the record job.
