could you post your local_conf.py and your
~/.mplayer/channels.conf.{sat,ter,cbl,atsc} (based on your card type)
also what version of twisted are you using

It seems like the output on my 'standard' TV is in 'extra low' resolution
(fonts are 'squary', DVD played from within freevo has distinct 'ladder'
signature on the straight diagonal lines which are missing when the same DVD
is played from the DVD player). TV is in 1024x768 resolution

Is freevo supposed to play DVD directory through Xine correctly? I can play
DVDs from DVDROM drive, but for some reason playing DVD files stored locally
on the drive doesn't work. The same directory plays OK as DVD directly by
Xine (xine -hfpq dvd://pathtoVIDEO_FSdir)
