thumbnail, hopefully it will show the mplayer command to get the
snapshot. If so then you should be able to run the command and see if it
generates an image.

I´m looking for recomendations for a movie database app (web based is a
plus), one where I can catalog my movies and in what media they are.
It seems that videodb[1] is a good choice. Anyone using something else?
