One question to start with is this problem all vidoe or just a

First big issue you are going to have is that Video over VNC is more
or less a no-go.. As far as using VNC to control freevo, you will need

something that could be done by freevo. If a client app say realtv or

My guess, WHen you did the build world, for whatever reason Freevo
did not rebuild agaisnt the new version of python. I had this happen
when I upgrade the python on my slackware box, but did not recompile
freevo for the new version.

I have just added a pvr-150 to my freevo system and started getting
this nasty crash using the freevo CVS and the freevo 1.5.3 with the
python 2.4 patch. I am not exactly sure but it looks like a type issue
in the v4l2.py. The tv seems to be only thing suffering issues. Any
fixes anyone?
After further digging it seem my PVR problem maybe in my
local_conf.py. Some one that has setup a PVR-150 in freevo throw me a
bone on this one. Following the wiki just ends up with bring my Freevo
box to it's knees.

This sounds like a scaling issue. For some reason mplayer is not
scaling up the image to full screen. This could be becuase it is not
getting the scale command or mabe the X server does not know how to

at boot. This modules is then getting load when you start the Window

SMB for remote directories as NFS was just to slow. Also I had to use

No TV-out on the 150. As a capture card though it works great. No
more work to set it up than for the 250/350 cards and I am guess a bit
less than the 500. For tv-out I am just using an old Nvidia card wtih

I suspect what you did was add a second clock plguin to the idlebar.
I think you need to remove the clokc before you add the clock back in.

I am using freevo 1.6.1 and I while the guide shows the channels in
numerical order, however when I change channels while watching tv I do
not get the channels in numerical order. I thought TV_SORT was
supposed to but the channels in order or was this just for the guide
listing.
