Furthering that article one must also consider Gaze Aversion which allows a listener to avoid distraction. Which interferes with thinking out complex thoughts. Privacy is simply an extreme measure to control Cognitive Overload. People who can Think seem to be able to do so by Avoiding distractions designed to prevent thinking. Body gestures also can result in Cognitive Overload.
