Hi,
How can I get my fvwmbuttons to be placed in the center at the bottom of
my screen; I need to put in some sort of calculation but I can't seem to
get it right. Has anyone else been able to do this, could you show me an
example?
Cheers, Jamie
Hi
I have a panel on the bottom of the display, i'd like a function i can
bind to a key press combination that will open it if it's not already
and close it if it is.
I've tried several ways, I can seem to get the dual function action
right. Does anyone have some tips as to how i can do
Hi,
I thought I might share my configuration and some images of my fvwm on the fvwm
website -- in case anyone might be interested -- as I remember finding others'
configurations very useful no matter how complex they may have been; in fact, I
still do have a look at them.
Is it still
I've got a load of functions defined in my configuration file using
DestroyFunc/AddToFunc. What I would like to know, is how can use these
functions to test if the application in question is already running? In
particular, I have an FvwmButtons instance that starts a panel - I wouldn't
want

Hi
I am wondering if -- aside from the scripts that come with distribution
-- there is a site where other scripts for FvwmScript can be
obtained/downloaded? Maybe some fellow fvwm users have written some and
there a repository of some sort available?
Thanks, Jamie.

Does anyone else have this trouble? and knows how to fix it?
It's not a major issue, although a little irritating. Do you know what
the problem could be?
Any help much appreciated.

a similar way to implement this into FvwmButtons
panels.
Has anyone done this and able to explain how I might be able to do it?
Thanks, Jamie.

Has anyone done this and able to explain how I might be able to do it?
Thanks, Jamie.
You can open the menu with a click like
*FvwmButtons: (Title your_text, ActionOnPress
and in examples I've looked on the web.
Would anyone happen to know ho I might be able to do this?
Thank you in advance, should anyone be able to help explain.
Jamie.

for the sake of the archives, for my setup which has the Icon Manager using
2 rows and 1 column, I needed to modify the ManagerGeometry to 1x2 - not 0x2.
That sorted it out.
I apologise for posting when it should have been clear to me from the start.
