Composing characters within fvwm

Fvwm doesn't seem to render what Unicode terms as combining or composing characters/marks/ligatures (eg. U+0308 or U+064E) correctly. When the character is displayed properly its supposed to be superimposed on whatever proceeded it; the composing character should also never occupy a space of its
