To set vacation,
So the last thing that i can say is:
You have to look to someting of obviously unsupported by checkpoint (I
suppose) source based routing on linux.

In brief as I catch on the net:
Edit /etc/iproute2/rt_tables file. As you see below we have added ID
Hi all,
I recently received a pdf file that describes how to set source routing.
as written by Paolo, this is not supported by checkpoint, but the pdf
indicates that some customers
are running such configs.
I can send it directly, or put it somewhere on a website if any are
interested.

I have a FW-1 that's off maint/support. I'm considering changing

To set vacation, Out-Of-Office, or away messages,
i don't think that shouldn't be a problem. you own the license perpetually,

you won't be able to upgrade it to an NGX lic without a valid software
subscription contract.

Has anyone ever used the post_connect_script variable to run a script after
connecting to a remote
access VPN? If so, were you able to use DNS information to resolve names to IP
addresses? If I ping
within the script using an IP it works fine; but if I use a name it does not
work. After I am
I got a chance to look briefly at the release notes today. Both the later
versions of 3.9 4.1 include the ability to customize DST rules via the
command line interface. I did not look at 3.8.1 but I presume it's the same
way.
