Your older licenses will not work with NGX R62. You have to upgrade
them. The licenses can be upgraded at the CheckPoint User Center. The
NGX R62 documentation describes the fact that you have to upgrade them,
and gives several ways to do that. See the
CheckPoint_R62_UpgradeGuide.pdf file.
Hi Kim
This document describes the necessary license upgrade from ng to ngx. I
already upgraded the licenses from ng to ngx format.

how is it done with Checkpoint?
Any suggestion of commercial tools or scripts would be appreciated.

Such a deal Check Point has for you: SmartUse!

Well, maybe it's not exactly what you're looking for, but I thought it was
kind of a neat service when I stumbled across it yesterday. I am somewhat
afraid of what it might cost, though.
SSL termination requires CPU power. And usually a lot of it. So I am rather
cautious here.
I always thought that the lack of SSL termination is one of the biggest
holes in FW-1 there could be. I stuck in a Microsoft ISA server behind FW-1
and one of the reasons was that it does SSL

By the way - how does the license work? For example I have 100
Thanks for your response,
Another question.
For example, the object in the 2 mgmt servers are different with same
name.
In this case, how does cp_merge work ?
