Hi List
Maybe some one has a guide for how to configure site to site VPN between
to CP FW.
Or something likes best practices for that setup.
Thanks

If you asked for an upgrade quote from checkpoint, it is kind of a
trade-in. You have to remove the 100 ip license after putting in the
500 ip license.

Yes.
In theory once the 500 is installed the 100 can be deleted. You can
also leave it there, as it will not affect your licensing.

Maybe you uses the wrong upgrade_Export.exe?
Please check this and take the right
one from the bin directory of your installation...

The 2 products are actually different and do need to be installed as
different products. The CP express product does have some limitations such
as how many enforcement modules are allowed to be controlled by the
management server. I think

What I meant is what the technical differences are. At installation time, you have to
choose whether to install vpn-1 pro or express, so I supose it's not just a license
issue.
Also, does anybody know what is a user? an ip address? a user
and then apply the express license you will
end up with issues.

Chris

Hi all!
Does anybody know what the difference is between an Express gateway
(CPXP-SC3-xxx-NG) and the traditional vpn-1 gateway (CPMP-VPG-xxx-NG)?
Thanks in advance.

As far that I know, with this Express version you could manage three sites instead
only one...

The express software and licensing is specifically geared toward organizations with
500 users or less.
All of the datasheets etc are located at:
