Hello Ray,
R62 = R61 HFA01 = R60 HFA04 as far as hotfixes are concerned. I think
R60 HFA05 had just under 100 fixes in it, but none of them looked like
show-stopper fixes for me.
How do you know that R62 = R61 HFA01 = R60 HFA04 ?
I didn't find anything about this on
I also have been wishing for a long time that Checkpoint would offer
SSL termination on gateways. Hope this comes through. I have also had
to fall back on Microsoft ISA for SSL termination.

I'll tell my costumer about avaliable features in HFA_05 package.
But if I need to ugrade to R62 how could I automatically do it? I

Are there any documents

SSL termination requires CPU power. And usually a lot of it. So I am rather
cautious here.
I always thought that the lack of SSL termination is one of the biggest
holes in FW-1 there could be. I stuck in a Microsoft ISA server behind FW-1
and one of the reasons was that it does SSL
Depends on the problem, can you elaborate?

If you have some issues with R60 I would go with HFA05 for R60. R60 is
patched more frequently than R62 for now.
If you think, taht you will need some new features (MGMT like), then
wait for R65. It should be released within a month.
