Hi guys,
I need an opinion. Or several as the case may be.
I'm torn between buying a new 12 ibook G4
I personally have been using an ibook, and it is pretty sweet, but if
you can get a PowerBook - GO FOR IT!!! The powerbook is way cooler than
the ibook. (I don't mean in temperature) One of my buddies has a 12 G4

Hi all,
I havea dead pismo here, and I was wondering it it would be possible for me to send
my cpu card, sans RAM, to someone and if they'd be willing to test and see if the cpu
worked in their pismo? If the cpu card turns up working then it is probably the power

Hi all - I have a Pismo that has recently decided not to go to sleep on
it's own. Everything was fine until I figured I'd do a little upgrade.
I was going to swap out the 20GB hard drive with a 30GB, but after I
cloned it and installed the larger one, I decided it was too loud so I

then in a flash of stupidity erased them all by reformating the card.
I haven't done anything else, so is it possible to recover my images?
If so, how?

I bought a 180GB hard drive to go in an external firewire enclosure between
my Pismo and desktop Macs. Upon formatting for 1 partition using OS 10.3.1

pre-mirror-drive-door G4 machines, but I thought I read that placing
