i downloaded USB mass storage support 1.3.5 from Apple per the ACOM

I can see that a device is connected to the USB port using the Apple

Good point. Great information for those of us who are searching around

Well, for my part, the reason I suggested to get 66MHz chip was that the
density was likely to be smaller with those older chips.
Yes, but if you're offered a pc-133, you don't want to be told to get a
pc-66 when one could find out if it could be working.

Well, actually I meant the internal KB and the trackpad. So the only peripheral would
be the (also internal) dvd-player. No difference if I remove that, by the way. I
removed the Airport-card also, still the same.

Normally I think that's a fine idea but in special cases (as with 256MB

specialist who can guarantee the RAM _will_work_ in a WS. OWC

I always wondered about that myself...
Why did Apple downgrade the system bus on the WS II line? I can understand
them wanting to make a uniform motherboard, but why as 66mhz? Unless it was a
consideration for PC66 RAM?

Hi y'all!
I have just bought a cheap iBook clamshell and among the faults
is a problem where the power adapter plugs into the iBook. It
disconnects when one wiggles the plug.
I have heard of this and I believe it can be soldered, but I thought

Any ideas ?

The other viable option would be to use SCSI target mode.

Yes, when it wakes up I hear both the disk and the dvd(no dvd/cd
inside) spinning up. I don't have OS9 so i can't try that. To
complicate matters, when I replace the dvd with my second battery Pismo
doesn't wake up. Flickering light goes off but the screen stays black.
