Double check - it might have actually been Taiwan _to_ Anchorage, to Memphis, to...(the last three), since when I originally ordered my Pismo off the Apple Store site, I saw that the shipment originated in Taiwan (point of manufacture), and all FedEx will wind up going at some point through their center of operations (Memphis, TN). The fun part is if you order something from Apple's site and have it sent 2nd day FedEx, it can arrive in less than 2 full days (due to the International Date Line, time zones and heading east, etc.).
