Hello,
I am running OS 10.3.4 and using Internet explorer. When I double
click a saved web page, and Expose moves the Explorer windows to the
center, I see a file behind them which is labelled Hidden.
I can't find it to delete it, just see it.
In OS9 Sherlock could make desktop files visible.

That kind of ignorance is wonderful, isn't it?

Which I agree is untrue for many users, perhaps a clear majority (which I

For some users though Macs *are* just beset with horrible problems.

If I remember correctly, when I did this on my Pismo, the mirroring was
there all along, just off the the right of the screen and I had to pull that
screen into view with the arrow (hand). I watched a DVD that way, but after
that I just used my regular DVD player and never used the feature again.
I use the mobile CoolPad instead, as it takes up almost no space in my bag
and it works great for keeping my Pismo and 12 iBook cool.

I agree... while fairly new to Macs, I find them much less trouble
overall than peecee's. When I have problems with my Mac, I figure on
maybe an hour or two sorting things out. When one of my peecee's goes
down, I make sure the fridge is stocked with cold beverages and write
off the weekend!

It seems that the Powerbook does not work with the s-video to RCA that I
have.
Help suggests pressing Command+f2 and f7 but those didn't work either.
Oh well, not a big deal at the moment.

I have a 400mhz Wallstreet upgrade chip working in what was a Wallstreet

Pulled a PC card out of a bin today, along with a 3gb notebook hard drive.
The PC card is labeled CMS Peripherals EasyBundle and has a short printed
circuit board attached to a length of ribbon cable. The connector on the
end of the ribbon cable plugs neatly into the connector on the hard
drive.
I have an S-Video to RCA adapter (which came with my Dell laptop). I
have a cable with 3-prongs (white/red/yellow) on each end. I plugged
the yellow into the VCR in RCA jack and plugged the other end into
the SVideo to RCA adapter and plugged that into my Powerbook.
