I finally decided to switch permanently to Address Book and exported my current contacts from Netscape as .ldif file in Panther. Upon importing into Address Book, however, I got only a small fraction of the contacts imported. At first glance, it appears as it imported only the contacts which have also an "address" or "telephone" field populated (the majority have only the e-mail address field filled in), but I'm not totally positive about this.
Thing is, a couple of months back, I could correctly import the entire list of contacts using the same method. I have since upgraded to 10.3.4. Also the older .ldif files I've used in the past are not imported correctly now. I know it's not specifically a G-book question (so I apologise for this), but I hope someone would have some grip on this issue, I work on two G-books after all! (and I have had problems with registering at macoshints/macrumors forums) cheers, gianfranco -- G-Books is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
