Is there a place where one can live game chat? As in role playing, doing a
game of jim's monopoly etc?
Where you can voice chat and play at once?
Or just voice chat your moves?
Let me know. The concept just came to me and I was like, surely something is
out there. So what is?
Thanks all!!!

Hi, Bryan.
I don't remember if there was a 2600 version or not, but I do know
Montezuma's Revenge was available for the Atari 5200.
As for Atari systems I don't have my 2600, but I do have my 7800 which
does all Atari games from 2600, 5200, and 7800. Which you can understand
why I kept that
Hi, Bryan.
Well, one thing I have noticed not only as an author, game dev, and
business person is companies do well when they have an icon or a popular
character.
Nintendo made it big with Mario. That is there main character, they have
an entire world based around him, and whenever games seam
My thoughts exactly. It'll be interesting to see what other sorts of
adventures Angela can get into.

How do you play these games while being blind? How do you know what to do

Hiya,
Been gone for a while and just getting somewhat caught up with some things. I
got some thoughts on the monty alpha, although it isn't very in depth.
I still have the old monty, and could compare them somewhat.

Hey Listers, I was just finally getting a chance to install Monty, because of
things going on here with my life. But anyways here is my question. I have
Microsoft .net framework version 2.0 installed onto my computer. But when I
tried to install Monty it was saying that it needed .net framework

Nobody ever said we were masters at it. Just because I can't see the screen

My guess is that you're just hearing through the wall when you hear that
rope. It just means you're on the opposite side of the wall from the rope
and just have to find another way to get to it. Usually when you hear an
object and it's on the other side of a wall from you you're not really all
I think the term you're looking for would be forwards compatible instead of
backward. We know Monty is backwards compatible because of the very fact
that it uses the .net Framework 1.1. However it does not appear to be
forwards compatible since it can't make do with V2.0 or whatever it is that
well, you can get the microsoft .net framework 1.1 from Tom's site on his
download page. I think the address is:
www.usagames.us
but I am not sure because I have it saved into my favorites and never have
to type in the address.

I know where to download it. I'm just wondering why the game doesn't work
with the more up to date .net Framework.

Hi, Allan.
Thanks, for the good feedback, and here is some comments of my own.
As for temple size it was doubled for technical reasons. I was planning
on doing more interesting stuff in the later levels that need a larger
temple space.
As for the issue with sounds sounds are based on the
Hi, Richard.
Technically, .net framework 2.0 will runn a 1.1 binary. However, since
the installer checks for 1.1 that is the only version it will except to
install at this current point in time.
At some point I may be migrating to 2.0, but since I am not setup for
it yet I am not going to risk
Hi, Bryan.
Technically, in my testing it will run with .net 2.0. The problem is the
installer is looking for 1.1.
The main reason I am enforcing 1.1 at this point instead of 2.0 is that
I haven't put Win XP Sp2 on my development box and VS 2005, and rebuilt
using the 2.0 libs.
My laptop has XP

Hi Tom,
Sorry if you had to repeat yourself, but the larger areas sound worth it now
that I understand what is going on behind the scenes. Thanks also for
explaining the sound thing, and I sympathize with you, although I have no
concept of just how hard it will be.
Thanks again for some clarity
Ah. Losing just exactly the required CD will do that for you. As I've said,
at least the two versions don't interfere with one another.
