well you may have issues with soundmax they only released drivers for
oem use at least I have never needed to upgrade soundmax boards and
assume that since all the newer units don't use them any longer that
they don't exist.

Realtech does have a driver but its really
again you have to change the default setting
back to what you want.

well tom it probably doesn't help that ms have their own sound driver.
That does work but you really need to know your manufacturer to get
the driver for that card as its generic, then again I have never
needed to record on a 7 unit.
And probably never will as I have a couple old units lined up

Not sure what the problem could be... if you go into playback controll and
turn the mic volume up and unmute it, it'll come through your stereo
mix... then just turn your line in volume down a bit. Should work.
