There's a difference between clientside and serverside aliases, and that's what
you're hitting here. In mushclient, aliases use wildcard characters to
represent blocks of unknown text, and reference those wildcards with %x. For
example:
alias: k *
send: kill %1
when you type k name your client

The client I use [and it does differ from person to person] is Gmud32. I
don't run scripts with it but I believe there are some around though not
sure if they are JFW version spacific. Actually now that I think about it I
have them in a zip file around here somewhere.
