I'm not sure if you can download them separately from the Alter Aeon pack,
but the MushReader plugin is incredibly useful. The output window plugin is
also very useful if you use a screen reader other than jaws, or don't like
to use the jaws cursor. This link should work for getting MushReader:

Hi Dennis,
Where might I get that package? I already installed the client itself,
will that cause problems? All I really need is Jaws to read incoming
text
automatically.
Best,
Zack.

Hi Dark,
Try grabbing this file.
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2142080/patch.zip
it's the patch.
If you have any problems, downlaod the full installer again. It should
be in the mush page.

You can get the basic MushReader package, which you can import into

Zack,
As far as I know, the Mush-Z package supports several other muds in
addition to Alter Aeon. You might be able to use it as a starting
point for another game.
Oriol is working on a major update to it as well, when that is out it
may also improve things.

Alter Aeon MUD
That would explain why I haven't been able to check for updates recently, to
see if the problems I've had with sapi have been fixed.
I hope Oriol gets around this soon, sinse I'm looking forward to getting
back to my exploration of Arcase.
Beware the grue!

Alright, here's what you do.
You need to have a mushclient.exe in the same folder that you run the
updater in. What you can try is reinstall mush-z and then run the
updater. if hal doesnt work, then maybe your version isnt uspported, I
do't know. if none of this works, just go into plugins, remove

Mush client works with vista. You may, however, want to try vipMud too. Mush

almost anything *grins*, where vip mud doesn't allow use of

Hey,
I have the same problem. The fix is to use insert+s to change jaws from
highlighted to none (just keep hitting insert+s until it says
none). Game text will now read without the backtracking. This
happens, I think, because mushclient likes to not clear the command line
on hitting
Just a note about achaea you can actually set up your aliases in game itself on
achaea. with the command setalias for example and following their syntax you
can shorten a great many of your commands down that way.

I just knew someone was going to recommend a Star Conquest ripoff.
The game wasn't that great in its original form. And guess what? The
last time I bothered with it it was still in its original form and
still not that great.
