Hey Tyler. I don't have any light perception any longer so I cannot comment on the display although my nephew, the one I have mentioned before who is a big gamer, says it's the best looking display he's seen on a handheld. I believe there are four brightness levels but I am not positive on that.

[Audyssey] Not to brag, but...

Hi, I have officially mastered Puppy1. I achieved a total of 87 planes destroyed, for a score of 2172256. BTW, if the score doesn't give it away, I was on expert. It is literally impossible to get any farther as the first plane of the round I was on starts right next to me, and I have no time to

Hi Karl, I will try adjusting the math for the volume of the wind sound a little bit, but I do not want the wind sound so loud that I can not hear the enemy plane. What I do is, as soon as the enemy plane or the next enemy plane is the target, I press the right control key and start heading

Hi Thomas, I am not so sure that Puppy1 saying zero, zero as soon as you are on target would be a good idea. The problem being that you and the enemy are moving constantly. Well 20 times a second. So the enemy could move on and off of target like 10 times a second and that would have the

Hi Thomas, Yes and no. Some of the menus in Puppy1 such as adjust volume, adjust rate of speech and change voice still use the VB6 keyboard input, because those are chunks of code from before. The main menus though are DirectX keyboard input routines that I took from Homer on a Harley and

Hi Thomas, I really did not have any specific ear in mind. I just used the sounds that I could find that sounded good to me and worked in the game. I am pretty sure that I have mixed WW I biplanes, WW II bombers and more modern planes such as a Cessna or Piper Cub. And of course I did not

Hi Phil, Yes, flipping the number for the direction to head the enemy back towards you would sort of work. However the game randomly picks a number for a direction for the enemy to move about 20 times a second. So just flipping it one time would not fix the problem as the code is written.
