That's the whole point. As long as I can generally play the system with
basic sighted help, that's all I care about.

Hi.
While it's not final fantasy, there have been some very nice things done
with both gamebooks and brouser rpgs, - particularly Sryth.
These are interactive stories with occasional text based combat, where you
fulfill quests. You could read the text using your default screen reader and
I wouldn't mind the wii if the virtual consoel was availible over the web,
like with the x box.

Hello Bryan!
I've played on a wii, and I'm really excited!
The tennis game seems very accessible - I've beaten the computer.
Also boling is funny to.
I really recommend to buy a such console.
And It's very nice that you don't need a kable for the controler, you just
can take it and play.
Regards,
I've also heard that the Wiimote makes things easier because if there's a
game in the console it actually plays a bit of music from said game when the
Wii is on the disk channel, so you know where you are. The only thing that
holds me back is the price, but it still sounds like it would be well
Hi Tom.
That folder of starwars stuff would be fantastic! I'd especially like to
find out what happens betwene the films, how the rebellion moved from
Yavin to Hoth, what were the repercussions in the empire to the destruction
of alderan and the princess officially joining the rebellion,
The PS3 also plays music before you start a game so you know what said
game is.

But the PS3's price is enough to make me cringe.

Hey all,
Ok this game's giving me a headache lol. Here are my questions
1. Where can I refuel for cheap, or do prices constantly change?
2. How do I know what the best routes are? Do I need to click on each city
to find out this info? I know there's a map, but it's definitely not

Hi Kelly,
Right. That is precisely why I want to design my own accessible RPG
game. The mainstream gamers have all sorts of RPG titles like Heroes of
Might and Magic, Final Fantacy, Legend of Zelda, etc but they aren't
accessible.
The ones that are accessible such as muds and some web based
Hi Dark,
Thanks for your informative post. Some of this I knew already, but there
was much here I didn't know about. Time to get a RPG fix for this RPg

Hi Tom.
I must admit I'm getting to be a bit of a gamebook nut.
You have the story and plot elements of interactive fiction, often with
puzles, but a sympler interface, and factors such as character stats which
can be used to resolve combat, or reward the player.
Gamebooks of course

Hi Tom.
The situation of the Syth rpg you mention sounds disturbingly familiar. Long
before I found audiogames, i was trying out literally thousands of those
sorts of games, and Sryth is the only one I found to actually feature
backstory, quests and a true world to explore.

Hmm. I wonder if GameBooks are still being made today...

Yes orin they are.
The fighting fantasy and lone wolf series are both being republished at the

the tbrn system seems to have gone through a crash, so stuff is only just
coming up.
right now there is no page up for jedyquake just files for things most of which
do dissapear when things go away.
