I have just installed and configured ganglia and I have one question. The
documentation that I have found is a bit sparse so I am looking through the
code to get some answers. I do have one specific question: I have several
systems on the same subnet and I want to set up two

2 things you might want to do to 'partition' your cluster.
1) data_source tag in gmetad.conf in server - you want to set up 2
different data_source so that they point to different clusters
2) mcast_port (or something like that) in gmond.conf - this is the
multicast port # that
aha! I think that may have been the problem all along. One of the
computers was using ntp for updates and the others were just humming
along in their own temporal worlds. Will attack that today!
