[Ganglia-general] override hostname with EC2 instance id

I was able to solve my time zone and the Power5/6/7 DSO issue. However, all the graphs are blank. I can see my cluster of nodes. I am able to drill down and see the characteristics under the Host Overview. All the graphs have the small box with No matching metrics detected right next to
