Dear GB New Year's Party Organizer.
Very recently I have read in Mid Day that on 31st eve. COPs will force
discotheques and music bars to stop their music by 1:30 AM and allow food and
drinks to be served until 5 AM. In such case do you really think that our GB
party can go on without any Music until 4 AM as mentioned in your email?
Is the appropriate care being taken to handle this situation, because everyone
will be in a party mood and we dont want COPs to spoil our new years party. I
am expecting couple of my Gay friends to arrive from Bangalore just to attend
our GB party and if COPs wouldnt allow the music to be played beyond 1:30AM
then it will turn out to be very expensive affair for those who are travelling
to Mumbai just to attend our GB party.
Plz. do not filter out this email and let others also share their views on
this.

Many people are wondering how Karma intends to handle the New Year
crowd. GB had a comfortable party there last New Year's Eve when the
number of people attending was 430.
Keeping the comfort of revellers in mind the Karma management has
made available to us the banquet room, adjoining the main pub, which
is centrally air-conditioned. This room is larger than the pub.
This room will be the lounge where partygoers can sit and relax. This
room will have a full-service bar and dinner will be served here.
Starters will be served in both areas. The speakers in this room
will be connected to the main DJ console in the pub; the volume of
the music here will be played at a lower level.
Partygoers, therefore, will have a choice: to dance with the crowd
in the main pub or relax (and even dance) in the comfortable lounge.
The general consensus is that about 500 persons will be able to move
comfortably within the two spaces. So, COME EARLY!

terms with their sexuality and/or those who have mustered the courage
to come to such a party for the first time). We request you to be

` No dark rooms and no sex on the premises; if found indulging in
any "hanky panky" you shall be asked to leave the party.
` A special REQUEST: During and after the party please DO NOT gather
outside the venue. The management has requested us to ensure that, in
the middle of the night, the peace of the neighbourhood is not
disturbed.
