Forget your past. Who are you now? Who have you decided you really are now? -
Anthony Robbins (Choice http://om.symphonyoflove.net/#choice @ OM)

Quoting Anthony Robbins, "Don't think about who you have been. Who are you now?
Who have you decided to become? Make this decision consciously. Make it
carefully. Make it powerfully."

The main trouble with despair is that it is self-fulfilling. - Norma Cousins
(Positive thinking http://om.symphonyoflove.net/#positive-thinking @ OM)

From Norman Cousins, "People who fear the worst tend to invite it. Heads that
are down can’t scan the horizon for new openings. Bursts of energy do not
spring from a spirit of defeat. Ultimately, helplessness leads to hopelessness."

You cannot expect to live a positive life if you hang with negative people. -
Joel Osteen (Life http://om.symphonyoflove.net/#life @ OM)

Quoting Joyce Meyer
http://lovequotes.symphonyoflove.net/joyce-meyer-love-quotes-and-sayings.html,
"You cannot have a positive life and a negative mind." Hanging with positive
people helps to further reinforce the positiveness in the mind.?

A reader shared a valid viewpoint about this quote in Facebook which I would
like to share. When I was sharing this quote, I shared it with a perspective
about people in our lives who are always habitually complaining about
everything in life when we meet up with them. We can do our best to inspire
them with our positivity but if it doesn't work, we can choose not to be
associated with the negativity. By no mean this mean leaving out people in your
life totally. And by no mean this quote refers to leaving out people with
depression. People with depression should be treated as how other common
illnesses has be treated - with love and care.
