This should be fixed now in cvs head. to get the fix from
Version_2_7_0t1, just do
export CVS_RSH=ssh
export CVSROOT=:ext:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cvsroot/gcl
cvs -z9 -q update -r HEAD cmpnew/gcl_cmpmain.lsp
