, those names are for the lexers in SciTE / Scintilla, I'm not 100%
sure that they are not renamed or modified (slightly?) for use in
Geany. Somewhere in the documentation there must be a list of the
lexers available for Geany and the extensions they recognize.

It's maybe just a little messy because -g is passed twice
(-g -DGEANY_DEBUG -ggdb3 -O0), but I don't think that causes any
problem.

Can anybody tell me how to invoke the Markdown lexer?
Markdown isn't listed on the Set Filetype menu(s).
I tried giving it (my testfile) a file extension of .md but that didn't
work--I could try others, but thought I'd ask.

Fixed size lines where everything is always
lexed by the LexCPP.cxx lexer.
