Hi Everybody! A great potting mix without sand (or perlite or vermiculite or pumice) has been recommended by Seattle's Indoor Sun Shoppe! It is super simple and seems to be working quite well with the first plant I transplanted a month ago---a podocarpus---Southern Fir!! That plant likes to be wet and humid with good light. Indoor temps work.
The soil mix is: 1/3 earthworm castings (humus) (marketed by Wonder Worm) 2/3 cocopeat fiber (reconstituted from the brick) Hope everyone's geckos are healthy and breeding as much as desired!!! Cheers, Elizabeth ~~~~geckos make me smile huge~~~~ _______________________________________________ Global Gecko Association http://www.gekkota.com Classifieds http://www.gekkota.com/cgi-gekkota/classifieds.cgi gecko mailing list gecko@lists.gekkota.com http://lists.gekkota.com/mailman/listinfo/gecko
