I do not believe the second condition is implied by "Votes on whether

Gah, this is what I was trying to convey. But I don't think it's still
100% correct.
You need a minimum of 3 +1's
Your net positive votes must be 3 (e.g. if you have a -1 and 5 total votes,
the other 4 votes must be +1's)
You need more +1's than -1's
I'm not sure what is written better.
Copying my +1 from the dev list.

Hi,
+1 binding
I checked:
- incubating in name
- signatures and hashes correct
- disclaimer exists
- LICENSE and NOTICE good (you may want to remove the “—“ line in NOTICE)
- all source files have ASF headers
- can compile from source
Thanks,
Justin
Yes, I tagged it as a RESULT sending it out thx Justin for

The release has passed. The vote is:
+1 (binding):
Justin Mclean
John D. Ament
Todd Lipcon

You must update the KEYS file in dist/release/incubator/tamaya [1]
before you release 0.3-incubating. It does not contain your signing key
(only dist/dev/incubator/tamaya/KEYS does).

Just wanted to point out that your description of majority approval is

Can someone please log a JIRA case on RAT? As soon as this feature is in a
released version of RAT I’ll change our release process to require headers in

Hi Taylor,
The Heron team engaged with members of the Apache Storm community through
private channels before the project was made available as open source. We
recognize this is not the ideal approach and going forward we will use more
collaborative methods as we progress and grow the Heron

Here are some suggestions:
1. Only make this the reporting structure for new podlings.
Grandfather in old podlings to the old structure, since they may
already have workflows built around it. Impala does.
2. Provide a clear description of the meaning and formatting of each

Hi,
Perhaps I’m missing something but it looks like you intended to put this RC [1]
up for IPMC vote after passing a vote on the PPMC dev list?
If so can you please repost as a [VOTE] thread on the incubator general list.
Thanks,

Hi,
I'm a mentor of MXNet and one of the things I plan to address is how to
integrate development via github and communication via slack with Apache's
more established infrastructure (mailinglists + apache's git). Is there an
official policy or recommendation of best practices on how to setup
Hi,
A vote can only pass with 3+1 votes, so I think you need one more vote to make
a release here.
Thanks,
