It seems that menu-daemon package is removed in current 2.0 image. And its functionality is merged into starter daemon. Please see menu_daemon.c file of starter source package. As it did in 1.0, it looks for the home screen app(menu-screen) using vconf value and ask launchpad to launch. Thanks,
