All of the designs imply an elastic layout that will take 100% of
the wbrowser window width (that's why I suggested people resized
their windows around the images to better view them).
I'm implementing design 3v1 into HTML format and I shall send you all
the link to the resulting

Hang tough. I am in a very similar boat. It's a worldwide thing. For now,
we just need to hang until next summer, provided nothing else breaks between
now and then. A lot is going to tear wide open for guys like us then.
