Hi list,
this may be a trivial question, but I really
don't know anything about networking.
When I connect my laptop to the internet
through my Netgear router, both firefox and
galeon work fine, but I can not run emerge:
emerge --sync
Starting rsync with rsync://1.0.0.0/gentoo-portage...
I'm getting this when I emerge samba. Is this an outright bug, or something
wrong on 'my side'?

./configure --prefix=/usr --host=i686-pc-linux-gnu --mandir=/usr/share/man
--infodir=/usr/share/info --datadir=/usr/share --sysconfdir=/etc

Hello, I was just using mutt with courier-imap and apparently I
deleted a very important email. I was browsing the message list and a
long string of characters showed up along the bottom, but I pressed
the next button too quickly to see what it said. All the messages
that were older than today

Thanks for all your explanations, but the funny thing is that I am German. :D
I just didn't know about the two different meanings of the word decline,
what is rather embarassing due to the fact that I learned (or had to lean)

warns about potential theme/settings problems

Are you also German? You name sounds quite as if you're.

There are languages with more cases for example the Czech language

That's quite impressive. I guess it's a great advantage if you learn such

A million thank-yous!
After the upgrade, along with the java-applet feel, all the text became
extra tiny all over the place. It reminded me of fluxbox in some
fashion. Last night my glasses broke and it just made things worse.
Everything works well again.

- the CUPS admin page on port 631 installed and lists it .
But: the CUPS page also shows:
