When gentoo boots grub display only kernel selection on the screen, hitting "Enter" there is not kernel line scrolling, only the login screen after few seconds: graphical login, user and password. Which parameter controls it. is it grub? In /etc/default/grub ... #GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT=""
