Either by visiting the homepage of the package, or by fetching it (emerge --fetchonly) and then examining the downloaded tarball (it's in /usr/portage/distfiles).
After installing, the names of the fonts are listed in a file called "fonts.alias". See for example "/usr/share/fonts/misc/fonts.alias".
